What is a good shampoo for shedding?

I am allergic to our cat but he only bothers me when he is shedding. I am just looking for some good shampoos for him to cut down on the hair loss. It would be great to be able to see again and stop sneezing.What is a good shampoo for shedding?

I don't use pet shampoos on my pets. They're too harsh. Buy a people shampoo that contains conditioning. Brushing our cat will help, too.
I have found that using a horse rake gently on your pet the hair will come right of. It worked for my german shepard
Make sure your cat is eating a quality cat food this will cut down on the dander and hair loss.
