Can anyone recomend a good shampoo for oily hair?

I wash my hair every other day, but on the second day y gets really oily and has an unpleasant smell. Can anyone recomend a good shampoo for oily hair?
I have the same problem except it's worse for me I go take a bath EVERY frigging DAY.

I use Clear it's fine.and once I asked the same question here are the results:

Aussie Root Cleanser + Tip Mender....Its AMAZING

herbal essences:

if your british then look out for the shampoo at the bottom of this page: http://www.herbal-essences.co.uk/product鈥?/a>

if your american then look out for this: http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collect鈥?/a>

couldn't find one for greasy hair, but it hydrates your hair!!

A clarifying shampoo would work, because it doesn't have very moisturizing qualities. You do still want to follow up with a conditioner, but you may want to stay away from cream conditioners and use a spray in/leave in. Most of them are very light weight and non-greasy.

Volumizing shampoo/conditioner would help as well, provided that your hair is straight and not colored (although they do make some volumizing shampoo/conditioners for colored hair, such as Matrix Amplify Color XL) Otherwise most volumizing shampoo/conditioner can make your hair color wash out faster. You also don't want to use volumizing sham/cond if your hair is permed or naturally curly, because you could go to the opposite end of the spectrum and end up with frizzy UNDER-moisturized hair, which isn't good either.

I would stay away from Pantene (and a lot of store bought, over the counter shampoos/conditioners) and switch to salon products. Pantene (and a lot of other ';OTC'; products) are wax-based, and that can build up on your hair over time and contribute to your problem rather than help it. Plus many have an extremely high alcohol content, which can cause the opposite problem of TOO dry of hair.

Hope this helps you! Good luck!

I would try Panteen Pro-V. It seems to work on a lot of hair types. Just make sure you scrub your hair good and use conditioner! Can anyone recomend a good shampoo for oily hair?
You should try putting a little bit of baby powder in it. A big bottle cost about a dollar anywhere, and it really helps. Just dab some onto your scalp, and rub it in, and it will soak up the oils right then and there. you should really try it! good luck!
I have the same exact problem and I use the pink bottle of loreal vive and it works awesome. My hair doesn't get oily like that and it smells really good.
I use Aussie for thin or oily hair or alberto V05, but I have the same problem, the solution: wash your hair every day. Oily hair that smells dirty is nasty.
Head and shoulders has a whole new line of shampoos and conditioners for different hair types. Also, no longer are they exclusively used for people with dandruff.
TGEL the stuff is awsome
dish soap, i use it a lot
