I recently went to my hair stylist and was told my hair was in really bad shape. She encouraged me to purchase salon hair products. I used them for a month and I can really tell a difference. The problem is they are so expensive I cannot afford to buy more every month. I have been told that store bought products leave a wax build up on your hair and they don't give your hair enough protein. Is there anything out there that isn't so bad?I need a good shampoo and conditioner?
the professional products don't use nearly as much water in their products so when you purchase professional products you are paying for product. when purchased at the store you are buying water with very little product.
typically you can add 1/3 water to salon products and they will still have less water than store stuff.
when using salon products you use a lot less which actually costs less in the long run.
always towel dry before conditioner.I need a good shampoo and conditioner?
it's always been irritating to me how hair stylists will tell you to buy this or that but won't educate you on your particular hair or how to use what they recommend Report Abuse
I really like Matrix Sleek and Redkin Color Extend. I hate spending lots of money on hair products too. I usualy go to Hair Cuttery or Great Clips and buy the big litter bottles. They are usually on sale 2 for $20. Just check out a couple cheap hair cut places and you should be able to find some on sale.
I had a problem with my hair being damaged from taking Depocate, my medication. First of all I changed to Zoloft.
Then I went to a hairdresser who put me on this program:
1. Finness Shampoo
2. Herbal Essence conditioner
3. Frizz Ease after shampooing
4. VO5 oil treatment once per week
Now my hair is very long and healthy.
Also, don't blow dry your hair until it has dried some to avoid the heat. Good Luck!.....)(
I use Vo5 products, excellent quality. Old company-but their
products are inexpensive and do what they state.
Herbal essences
it works good for me
herbal essence
Try Redken
You gotta lot of studying to do.Build up is what you are looking for.Healthy hair comes from within.
All the answers given you are great -- but there is also one more place to look for products. Try a Beauty Supply House -- they have professional products at discount prices. You should be able to find something there to help and save you some money.
try paul mitchell products try shampoo one and get the Hair repair its great . but you have to leave in on the hair for 30 min . try this wash are hair at night and put hair repair on all night rinse in the am . you will see a big diff . there not real $$$
You have to try REDKEN ALL-SOFT and you'll never try anything again!!!
I use the Back to basics shampoo and conditioner, they are made by completely from organic material and it doesnt leave wax on your hair, i would look at the ingrediants of them before buying, the least amount of chemical ingrediants the better.
An inexpensive shampoo that is good - Pantene I use it if I run out of the salon shampoo.
Aussie. Try the five-minute-miracle. It works great!
~i really like the garnier frutise products. my hair was like straw %26amp; now is completely soft %26amp; bouncy.~
I really like Garnier Fructis, for like 3 or 4 dollars a bottle each for conditioner and shampoo.
i do to dont worry
I like long and strong by fructis.. It is about $4 a bottle with both the conditioner and shampoo but it fixes split ends and damaged hair.
if you can use then try out loreal's proffesional volume extreme or vitamino with a conditioner from the same range.
It works wondorous.
If you shampoo regulary then try loreal's vive two in one shampoo and conditioner..no build up and no stripping.
