I've heard of that from my mom too, but I didnt believe it. She said it was a whole back in one shampoo bottle. wierd huh? LoLHas anyone tried putting birth control pills in their shampoo?
Who is the stupid one now lol.
How you have the nerve to call my queston stpid I do not know.
You are one strange cookie.
You need professional help lol. Report Abuse
DONT LISTEN TO THEM! YES IT WORKS, PUT THEM IN UR SHAMPOO AND NOT IN UR CONDITIONER, WASH 2 TIMES, FIRST JUST RINSE IT AND MAKE SURE YOU HAIR IS REALLY CLEAN, THEN THE SECOND WILL SETTLE IN MUCH NICER AND MASSAGE IT WELL. LEAVE IT FOR 3-5 MINUTES AND IT WILL WORK. GIVE IT TIME. Report Abuse
Why would I waste my prescription by doing that?
?!?!?!?!?
Hair rich in revitalizing shine and hormones? I can't see it happening.
what the hell?
This is what I found on the web:
';No 鈥?birth control pills used topically will not thicken hair. There may be a misconception that since hair loss is related to the male hormone DHT that a female hormone agent such as birth control pills may work. This is NOT true.';
http://www.baldingblog.com/2007/02/26/pu鈥?/a>
Also noted that several women were complaining that when they ingested birth control pills, it made their hair thinner and fall out.
I do not know if that is true, but I do know apple cider vinegar works. It has over 93 vitamins and minerals in just 2 tablespoons.
Maybe she meant prenatal vitamins. Because that's what you are going to be taking if you don't start taking your pills instead of putting them in your shampoo. Pregnancy makes you hair and nails grow. Not to mention what it does to your waistline.
I've heard of that it was like 10+ years ago though, but ya it does leave hair soft..it has many vitamins that get added to the shampoo and make the hair shiny and soft no conditioner needed
Is it really worth the cost of expending medicine for something you could just get a better conditioner to help?
How in the heck would you use a prescription drug in a shampoo to make your hair thicker? Or find a doctor to write such a script?
They are having you on.
Sounds kind of dumb...I wouldn't believe it for a second...all you are going to do is waste your bc pills and then where will you be......I'll tell you where..preggers because you used all your pills in your shampoo
I think you need a new hair stylist and therapist
Seriously, i don't think so. I think your therapist is strange and just trying one of those things that most people know as old wives tales.
you betta not. i don't want none a that baby-mama drama.
I'm a massage therapist and it sounds like you need a new massage therapist from the answer she gave you!
are you really serious. massage therapists %26amp; hair stylists don't know anything about birth control, thats not their job.
i'm sorry but i would rather not waste them in shampoo....but seriously i have NEVER heard of that.
LOL...don't wanna know what's going on in your bedroom..
I don't think that would really be a probable situation as you would have to keep getting your prescription filled, and they probably wouldn't let you get it filled sooner than the required time allowed....
sounds like a myth and a potentially expensive one at that. you should just buy main and tail shampoo from a feed and supply store.
Huh? That sounds crazy to me. I've never heard of that and don't really see how it would work either.
wot d hel??????????? U got me so cunfused ,, How wuld dat work. Ne way got an oder remedy 4 u. Try putting eider home made youghart or egg in ur hair and using it lyk a shampoo den washing it off. Must warn u tho it might smel but it keeps ur hair from falling out and makes it healthier.
Yeah...why would you waste them, and how would you go about getting a prescription for this purpose? What you CAN use, are some products with pre-natal vitamins in them (best for hair and nails).
I think your therapist needs therapy.
