Does anyone know about some shampoo that actually prevents grease?

I wash my hair everyday and it still gets greasy by 3. Help?Does anyone know about some shampoo that actually prevents grease?
There's a shampoo and conditioner by Aussie that I've been using for a while. It's for combination hair, and they describe it as 'Greasy at the roots and frazzled at the ends?' I'm sorry I can't remember the exact name, but that description is definitely on it.Does anyone know about some shampoo that actually prevents grease?
Try a clarifying shampoo. It may be your styling products or your using too much conditioner. Cut back on conditioner and see if that helps.
Try Aussie Cleanse and Mend
No shampoo actually prevents it but, you can do preventive maintnence to avoid this problem. First if you are using a shampoo that is for color safe hair, or straightning hair etc. you will not get a shampoo that is cleaning your hair. Try Suave or White rain which is just Shampoo designed to remove build-up. Do not condition your roots. Apply a dime size amount to the ends of your hair and work your way up and do not apply to scalp. Also if you use hair products do not apply them to the scalp either. You must deep clean your hair to remove all product build-up. Shampoo twice and discontinue use of conditioner for a week. Using alot of products grabs dirt, oil and cig. smoke to make your hair dirtier quicker.
aussie has a shampoo for greasy roots and i luv it. u should def try it
Look in the shampoo aisle for bottles that say ';For Oily Hair'; i use suave for men and it keeps my hair pretty dry for the most part, I have the same problem.

Shampoos can't prevent grease because your head just produces it all the time, and it needs it. My hair used to be greasy by the time it dried, that's just how it was, but I grew out of it. I still have to wash it every day, too, and most of my friends don't. Try washing it twice, and not using one with conditioner in it. Conditioner attracts dirt and makes it look worse.

As a side note, I used to wash it every other day and that was working out okay until I started washing it every day. All of a sudden I couldn't skip a day, and this was after all my hormones were freaking out, so I know that washing it more often caused it to produce more oils than before. Weird stuff.
First off, the more you wash your hair, the oilier it gets. Your hair feels the need to produce more oil because you are drying it out. You might want to wash your hair every other day. Keep doing that for a while so that your hair adjusts.

Now, different people's hair is different with the amounts of oil produced. If your hair is just naturally producing a lot of oil, you are going to want to look for shampoos that say ';for normal to oily hair'; or ';for oily hair';. But I have not thoroughly looked enough to give you an exact brand/shampoo. I would recommend checking http://www.drugstore.com/.
You might be washing it too often. If you wash it too much your hair/scalp dries out and produces more oil. Try washing it every other day.
no your not suppose to was your hair everyday it can dry it out i wash my hair every once a week or sometimes twice but to help, use baby powder:use q-tip but not to much it would look like you have lice
herbal essence drama clean
Grease is the accumulation of the naturally occuring oils in and on your scalp. There is nothing that will prevent grease as that would dry out your scalp and hair and then the problem would be flakes.

Your best bet is to get a shampoo for oily hair, which will reduce oil and hopefully you can have less o f an issue.

Also, try not to over-brush your hair or touch it with your hands too much. These activities also spread the oil and hair can appear greasy.
