I use Original source shampoo and conditioner and I washed my hair on tuesday,a friend said I had dandruff why?

Is it that I use a particular shampoo? should I use a particular shampoo?

Are Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioners good?I use Original source shampoo and conditioner and I washed my hair on tuesday,a friend said I had dandruff why?
No Dandruff is a natural thing, I got when I went through puberty. It didn't go away but it is a lot less heavy now that I'm 27. I use a specific Shampoo, some Shampoo makers create a formula that combines conditioner and Dandruff shampoo for '; flake free / soft, and bouncy hair '; I must say its true. My head stays flake-free, and soft. The brand is

Equate; Dandruff Shampoo; Cooling, for all types of hair

NEW!!! Formula

Thats what it says exactly on the bottle.. Hope this help!I use Original source shampoo and conditioner and I washed my hair on tuesday,a friend said I had dandruff why?
Dandruff comes due to dry scalp.

Shampoo should be of pH balance and fruit based to give good results.

Herbal essence shampoos are good for greasy hair and that also should be alternated with shampoos that condition hair.

Thin hair come because growth is not strong (weak roots) you need internal and external nourishment

Hair wash should be twice or thrice a week
Well, maybe you should rinse your hair more thoroughly after conditioning. I would probably do this. Use like a Head %26amp; Shoulders dandruff shampoo, rinse, use a Herbal Essences shampoo, rinse, Herbal Essences conditioner, let sit for 5 min, rinse completely. Comb your hair right after you get oiut of the shower. This should kkeep you dandruff free and you'll have silky, lucious hair.
Surely you would have noticed if you have dandruff on black hair? that makes me think it was just a one-off where the shampoo etc. weren't washed out properly.

If you think it is a problem, I can recommend the Loreal Elvive shampoo. You may have to try a few different brands to find what works best for you though - lots of people swear by Head %26amp; Shoulders but I don't rate it.

Lucky you for having such an honest friend though - better they tell you than someone possibly being nasty about it.
i work in a hairdresser and really it just depends on your hair type. some shampoos and conditioner react to hair differently and sometime can cause dandruff but if that happens a lot its best to tea tree shampoos.

herbal essences is a good but i perfer bedhead and catwalk but they can be very expensive

hope this helps
You may need to rinse the product out of your hair better.

Also maybe you should comb/stimulate you scalp more often then follow up with like a tea tree oil moisturizer regularly.

one thing to know dandruff is treatable not curable so if you have it you most likely will always have it.

also make sure you are not washing your hair out too frequently that can cause dryness. every2-3 days is suffiecient.
i've never heard of original source, but yeah herbal essence is good. if your friend said you have dandruff, you may try using a dandruff shampoo for a while to moisturize your scalp
Original source conditioners %26amp; shampoos are really good but you need to wash them out really well. The 'dandruff' was probs just excess dried shampoo. Herbal esences are quite good but i prefer original source :)
i dont think its the shampoo that does it...

maybe you were using an anti dandruff shampoo last time, and now you're not... and it is not helping
because it was a tuesday in September
