What is the best organic natural shampoo/conditioner?

It seems like there are so many chemicals in the supermarket brands........what is a great natural brand? What is the best organic natural shampoo/conditioner?
I like Jason as well - but my favorite is Avalon - lemon and verbena :) MMMM it smeeeeellllllllssss soooooo sooo good :)What is the best organic natural shampoo/conditioner?
Cream and hot water!
I buy Jason brands...I find them in the natural food section of most supermarkets and it works great. It's safe for color-treated hair as well (something I need!).
well good 'organic' ones are on this website http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/hair/ha鈥?/a>

dr.haushka.com also has great ones
I love Burt's Bees Super Shiny shampoo and conditioner. Although the shampoo is a bit harder to lather (considering that it does not contain sodium laureth sulfate or other harsh detergents), it works wonderfully. It really does do what the product claims-- it makes my hair sooo shiny. It also smells good- very citrusy. The conditioner is not very hydrating (its thinner than other conditioners) but it detangles well and does a decent job in moisturizing my hair.

I also think that Dessert Essence is pretty good too.

What's the BEST SALON quality shampoo for volume?

My hair is usually volume, but now it's growing out and getting a bit thinner and flatter. I need a very good quality shampoo that can give me more volume and body to my flat hair. But something that won't dry out my hair of cause frizziness. I especially need volume on top. So what's the best salon quality volumizing shampoo you have ever used?

Thanks guys :)What's the BEST SALON quality shampoo for volume?
Joico or REDKENWhat's the BEST SALON quality shampoo for volume?
i really recommend tigi catwalk 'sexed up' thickening shampoo and conditiner. its the best ive ever used and is quite cheap and you can buy it from lots of salons or online for about $10.99 / 拢10 a bottle but its totally worth the pricetag because it really added thickness and volume to my hair and the conditioner doesnt weigh down your hair. heres a picture so you know what it looks like

I use shampoo by Yves Rocher. It's very good stuff. I buy it online. They are always running specials so I always manage to get it 2 for 1 or a good deal like that.

Paul Mitchell Extra Body Shampoo and Conditioner or Matrix Amplify. Also get the hairsprays they work really well to give you more volume on top. They are both light weight hairsprays.

What is the best kind of shampoo for think hair?

i use sunsilk , its really good get the one in the purple bottle . and the anti frizz 24/7 cream
Well it's great to have thick hair and it looks more fuller so I will stick to the thick hair. But there is this Pantene shampoo that helps make hair straight.
3 minute miracle works really well with my thick hair!
I like redken.

Don't use pantene, it leaves a waxy residue in your hair that only a stylist can strip out.

What is the best anti breakage shampoo?

My hair has breakage and i want to grow it longer. My hair is wavy and past my shoulders. Thanks for all answers!!!What is the best anti breakage shampoo?
using wen (fig), its a cleansing conditioner, so you don't get the harsh effects of shampoo and all the greatness of a good conditioner. However, it is a little pricey... so, I would not get it from the 30$ website because it comes with a subscription (unless thats what you want). The next best thing is Tresemme...in my opinion.

  • Is Sergeants flea, tick, and lice shampoo good for me to use on my cat?

I also want to know if their flea spray is good.Is Sergeants flea, tick, and lice shampoo good for me to use on my cat?
    Sergeants! Meh! Bleck!

Yes, if you don't use them properly they can be dangerous to your little fuzzy.

No, I would not recommend it.

Why? Because when I was a poor (as in $$) pet parent, I tried all the stuff you can get off the shelf in a walmart or pet store. No no bad!

The BEST stuff to use on cats contains fipronil. Frontline is recommended by my vet, and all 5 of my current cats. More information: http://frontline.us.merial.com/products/index.asp

The second best stuff to use contains pyrethrins. It's not as strong, and doesn't do quite the damage to fleas that fipronil does, but it's what I use on my gerbils, and it keeps the gerbs flea free when we have an outbreak with the cats. (Price you pay when you live in a cat-friendly neighborhood - lots of flea carrying visitors on the window sills) A good example of this is: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=11178%26amp;N=2007+113626

Best place to get frontline if you don't want to go to a vet, AND get more information about tons of pet-related things? http://www.drsfostersmith.com. I get most of my pet supplies from them, and they have a good selection and good help from actual vets when you're shopping. Is Sergeants flea, tick, and lice shampoo good for me to use on my cat?
Please don't use Hartz or Sergeants. Not only are they mostly innefective but their VERY harsh and dangerous to use on pets. Get your cat on a monthly flea treatment such as Advantage or Frontline. If you do that the spray isn't necessary. Treat your carpets with 20 Mule Team Borax, found at grocery stores in most laundry aisles, and strip down and wash all beddings - yours AND the pets.
I think it's a very good product. I've used their products on all of my animals. I've had both cats and dogs and I've never had a problem using it.

Where can you buy Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner in the Philippines?

Try checking at Watsons, sometimes they have US brand products that are not available for sale at mass merchandisers (SM, Robinsons, etc.).Where can you buy Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner in the Philippines?
I use it and buy mine at Gaisano/Pacific Mall here in our province.

When I was in Manila, it's available at Watson's and Rustan's in Metro Mall in EDSA. I can't recall if I purchased one at MOA's Hypermarket.

I gave my dog a bath and now he is itching himself and sneezing like crazy, is it from the dog shampoo?

Should I get different shampoo? Also, is this why he has so much dandriff?I gave my dog a bath and now he is itching himself and sneezing like crazy, is it from the dog shampoo?
What did yo use. Human shampoo, flea tick shampoo is extremity harsh especially Harts or Sargent's/ Bath her again with a good DOG oatmeal Sampo or mellaluca oil shampooI gave my dog a bath and now he is itching himself and sneezing like crazy, is it from the dog shampoo?
You have to rinse several times, any soap residu on the skin will make the dog very very itchy.

The more you bathe a dog, the drier the coat gets because you're stripping oils out of it.
I would either find a website or a book about canine dermatology, rather than seeking such information from a casual chat site like YA.
maybe hes allergic to it when he gets over it and you have to bathe him again see if he does the same thing again and if so then ask your vet what shampoo you should use on yout dog
possibly. wash it off of it as soon as you can. try oatmeal shampoo, its good for the skin.
wash him off, don't put anything else on him, but rinse him again and make sure you get it all out.
    Could be. Try oatmeal shampoo.
Probably from the shampoo. I use Seltzen Blue dandruff shampoo on my Cocker Spaniel, and it seems to have cures most of his itching. Plus, dogs like to smell like dogs, the shampoo makes him smell like a human, and by rubbing himself, he is trying to restore the dog smell.

What would be a great shampoo for taking care of permed semi-curly-wavy hair?

also..my hair is black and normally sleek and shiny when naturally straight so if i use pantene now with waves my hair puffs up so I need something that will give it a nice spring. What would be a great shampoo for taking care of permed semi-curly-wavy hair?
There are shampoos out in the market specifically made for permed and wavy hair. Look at the fine prints and check out if it has a balsam or conditioner sold with it. But permed and wavy hair tends to be dry and brittle so do not shampoo every so often- conditioners and balsam will help in managing your hair. Also, do not dry your hair with a hot hair dryer- a fanor air drying will do. The point here is to retain the moisture of your hair and scalp so you will not develop split ends. A visit to the parlor with a hot oil treatment will also help- yunesa@yahoo.comWhat would be a great shampoo for taking care of permed semi-curly-wavy hair?
First off pantene has ingredients that are the same as a floor cleaner. I don't think you want that on your hair. You need something professional that is close to the pH of your hair in order to get what you want. Second, you need something that will give you volume, but not too much to look frizzy. I would highly suggest matrix curl life collection. Other lines that I would use are Aquage, Back to Basics, or Paul Mitchell. Good luck
    I like Sunsilk

aussie miracle shampoo and conditioners are brill for curly or wavy hair.. also using a small bit of john freda serum to your hair before you dry it will add the bounce and shine your looking for

Hairstylists Only! What do you think is the best kind of Clarifying Shampoo?

I am also a hairstylist, but I just wanted some other people's opinions. I use hairspray almost every day, and it seems like it doesn't get washed out with the shampoo I use now. I use Aquage.Hairstylists Only! What do you think is the best kind of Clarifying Shampoo?

actually you dont need a clarifying shampoo to get the same results as two tsp of baking soda mixed with your shampoo. Make sure you are only shampooing your scalp so do not pile hair on your head during washing. this can resault to hair breakage. also after any clarifying please be sure do deeply condition your hair due to the drying effects of clarifying.
Use a shampoo by aveda. (hair detoxifier.)

  • What shampoo is best for coloured hair?

My hair is short, coloured brown (my natural colour, minus the greys I'm getting), quite thick and tends to get greasy easily. What shampoo is best for coloured hair?
I've done some research on this. Alot of the shampoos sold that claims to be for colored hair strips the color. What you need to look at is the ingredients in the shampoo. Avoid shampoos with sodium lauryl sulfate,TEA lauryl sulfate, triethanalomine, and alkl sodium sulfate. The gentle cleansers are: sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfate. What shampoo is best for coloured hair?
    frend ,

just use what u used b4.

i use head and shoulders. u can try that. its fantastic
    Vosenne
    Redken or Pantene.
Tresemme!!! i have heard recently fruictus, pantenne and herbal essecnce are suppose to be terrible shampoos, because they have more chemicals in them, basically any of the shampoos used by hairdressers are better for ur hair!!!!
Redken Color Extend ... it's amazing and the only thing my stylist ever recommends for colored hair.
the new range of head and shoulder's
    tresema
tigi is awesome try Catwalk- Fashionista or BedHead- Dumb Blonde
    panteen or lorial paris
I use dove as it is mild %26amp; therefore doesnt damage your hair if washed frequently.
i'm very pleased with dove shampoo
You may want to get the new pantene for women of color that's what i use and it works just fine for me.
Try anything with a color protectant in it. I think all the major brands make them I know Pantene does and they even divide up into the color of your colored hair (teehee) I used the blonde kind and loved it and they make a brown kind. Now I use Avon Color proctecting shampoo...it actually does seem to make the color last a little longer!
    pantene v
Sunsilk for brunettes is quite a good shampoo or herbal essences is just as good
Have you tried any of the natural henna ranges from bodyshop etc?
    TRES'SEMME COLOR THRIVE
redken,it's a bit pricey but really worth it,also you don't need to use as much.

What can i do to make my rebonding last longer apart from using rebonding shampoo ?

dont tie your hair and usually it last for about 6 months

Why are the pouring holes in hair shampoo bottles bigger than those in hair conditioner bottles?

Good question. Conditioners are more viscous than shampoo yet it's really hard to squeeze out of that smaller hole. Stop short of calling it a conspiracy but we do tend to use up more shampoo quicker while the conditioner's still half-full. And we don't mix brands do we? - well not usually, so we trudge down to the store and get another bottle of shampoo. Why are the pouring holes in hair shampoo bottles bigger than those in hair conditioner bottles?
    I use ones with pumps

both are the same size and

much less fine motor skills involved to operate,

which is great when you're in the shower all wet

and slippery. Why are the pouring holes in hair shampoo bottles bigger than those in hair conditioner bottles?
You don't use as much conditioner.
1-because you use more shampoo than conditioner

2-because shampoo is thicker than conditioner
it is best to use conditioner on your ends, as opposed to your whole head like shampoo. Therefore you need less.
cause you dont need as much conditioner

    i dont know
cos you use more shampoo than conditioner.
i don't care how much smaller they are i still use as much conditioner as i like

Can I have healthy hair using baby shampoo?

I`m 21 years old and I have oily hair, hairfalling sometimes. Is it good to use baby shampoos? Can they bring benefits for my hair? Can it stop hairfalling and can it make my hair more healthy?I`m thinking for JOHNSON`S baby shampoo!-from my sisterCan I have healthy hair using baby shampoo?

baby shampoo is especially designed for sensitive hair. what you need is strong stuff, because oily hair is serious. try head and shoulders for oily hair. yes, it exists, i use it, cause i had the same problem. and the hair looks all strong and shiny. baby shampoo is just too ';light'; for your problem
    Hey ya!

My friend like to do this too, while using such shampoo hers hair become stronger but not so much.Good luck!
I use the same shampoo in the summer when I am washing hair almost every day. But I also think a baby shampoo is good for babies. The same goes for babies creams. Older skin needs proper cosmethics. But on the other hand some people in Africa never use cosmethic and look fine.
No, don't use it. When my husband was in hair school, they showed the students how you can actually give a perm using Johnson's baby shampoo as the perm solution! The reason is that its pH is way too high (very alkaline), and our skin and hair is naturally a bit acidic. They say it is 'no more tears' because there is actually a small amount of anesthetic in it, so if it gets in a baby's eyes, they just can't feel it. Also, in his years of doing hair, my husband noticed that people who used baby shampoo got SERIOUS build up of it in their hair. It doesn't rinse away clean enough, and will add to your hair's oily look/feel.

Everyone loses hair every day---100 or more hairs. This is part of the natural grow-dormant-fall cycle. If your hair is long-ish, you might notice it more simply b/c you see more hairs in the tub, in the sink, on your brush.

The best shampoo you can use isn't necessarily an expensive salon one, but even a decent drug-store brand.
it's better u use adult shampoo special for oily hair and also use some conditioner from the same brand as your shampoo, conditioner will make your hair smooth. Last time i use to use shampoo only but now since i use conditioner, it's better, and if u have time, do hair treatment once in awhile, u can go to salon or do it at home also, u can buy the product for hair treatment
    won't hurt
I started using Johnson's when I had problems with hair loss occuring due to medication I was taking. To be honest I was too scared to use most other brands of shampoo and whilst browsing along the hair products section of my local supermarket I spotted good old Johnson's baby shampoo.

The packaging, uninspired clear plastic bottle, is very easy to overlook on the shelves and it's only if you have very good eyesight (you have to read the descriptive label through the actual honey coloured shampoo)that you can read the information that it can be good for adults.

I have greasy hair and I have found that using this shampoo does eliminate this particular problem to a great extent. I can't say that it leaves my hair baby soft (thank goodness) but it does leave it feeling clean and manageable. Although I do not have any perm, bleach or colour products on my own hair I do feel it would probably be kind to hair suffering from these particular treatments although a separate conditioner might be needed as well.

The 'no tears' formula could well be worth bearing in mind for those who may find themselves having to wash the hair of the elderly or infirm and for those who have sensitive eyes.

The cost is comparable to most shampoos and I would recommend that it is well worth trying.
It depends..I've got wavy.frizzy hair but i did try using baby's shampoo but it made it more dry.I suggest u really learn about your hair type n get the proper products..
You need proper hair care as well for that read some hair tips on this site

for breakage the pantene restoratives work great.

    use the anti-breakage system.

they are are the blue bottles.

they have shampoos , hair treatments , conditioners , and smoothing balms for before blow drying ect.

    it works the best.

What shampoo is good for breakage?
there are tons of high end products that are great, but not always worth the money. out of the shampoos sold in places like CVS and supermarkets etc. I like tresseme. Its 32 fl. oz. for around 5 dollars (compared to 5 or up to 30 dollars for 13 fl. oz). It also has legitimate tips on the back to avoid breakage when washing. also, to help the frizz and breakage, try a hydrating leave in conditioner and/or a hair mask once or twice a week. (pantene and garnier make great hair masks, and TLC and and garnier have some great leave in conditioners)

it is blonde at the top but brown at the bottom

    i uaually curl it

it looks alot like jamie lynn's i also have dandriff. What shampoo and conditioner should i use?
I would use a shampoo like Head N Shoulders, or Selsun Blue, or any other dandruff shampoo. As for conditioner, I would use anything with minimal alcohol, as this will dry out your hair.(Don't use John Freida, it has A LOT of alcohol) and something that moisturizes hair, like Pantene or Garnier Fructis(Garnier smells better, in my opinoin) Hope this helps! What shampoo and conditioner should i use?
make your own! mix some anti dandruff shampoo, color protecting shampoo (if your hair is colored, i just assumed!) and an anti-frizz shampoo. you can also do this with conditioners. i'm not sure if there are shampoos to protect against heat damage... but there are products you could use since you curl it. good luck! :)

Just curious about how it works (if it does at all?)What exactly does anti-dandruff shampoo do to your hair?
Not all dandruff shampoos dry out hair, although some do (especially Selsun Blue).

Dandruff shampoo works by slowing the growth of fungus in the scalp. Fungus is what causes dandruff.

How can i get rid of head lice?i have tried every shampoo on the market and even bought the electric comb?

my daughter's have had head lice for about 2or 3 months now and i have tried everything i can think of can anyone help me?How can i get rid of head lice?i have tried every shampoo on the market and even bought the electric comb?
Wash the brushes and anything get to contact with any element from their hair even the pillows everyday in a hot water %26amp; use the electric broom to clean up the house furniture and carpets .

%26amp; of course stick with the anti-lice shampooHow can i get rid of head lice?i have tried every shampoo on the market and even bought the electric comb?
you have to buy special lice shampoo. when i had lice we had to get that and every day you have to comb though the hair your self and try to kill any of the lice you can see.
Try mayonnaise. It suffocates the lice. I'm not sure about how long to leave it on, sorry! but be sure to comb out all the dead ones after your rinse it out.

    Hope that helped.
Doctors prescribe you special shampoo and conditioner for lice. OTC products usually don't work.
Try straightening her hair..I know it sounds silly, but think about it...It will burn them. I don't think that will get rid of all of them, but it should help.

What is the best ';normal'; shampoo for sensitive skin?

I have used medicated shampoos in the past (i.e. T-Gel). I am looking for something more mainstream, that doesn't smell bad but works great for sensitive skin. My hair tends to get oily. What is the best ';normal'; shampoo for sensitive skin?
Purology moisturizing shampoo is great.. Use only a little in that it is super concentrated. T-Gel shampoo will make your scalp problems worse.

  • How will I know if a product have UV sun shields like shampoo, as they claim to have in their product?

I'm using shampoo that says UV sun shield, I'm just wondering if they really have that kind of protection in their products, cuz I myself likes to be under the sun since I love outdoor activities.. Does it really protect my hair..How will I know if a product have UV sun shields like shampoo, as they claim to have in their product?
It will state on the product, but to tell you the truth the only thing that really protects hair is to wear a hat or stay out of the sun

Need help to find a shampoo and a leave in conditioner that volumises hair and fights tangles?

hi people, im 21 yr old male with shoulder lenght hair, after the shower my hair get limpy and lifeless and they also get tangled up so when i put my hand into my head to fix it, it break off a few because of the tangles, so does anybody any good shampoo and leave in conditioner that can help my problem?Need help to find a shampoo and a leave in conditioner that volumises hair and fights tangles?
The complete Infusium line is the most amazing hair care product you will ever know. Your hair will end up being very manageable, full and tangle-free.

It's very reasonably priced too. But in case you're not crazy about the scent, try Suave for Men.....it's an excellent product and conditions amazingly.Need help to find a shampoo and a leave in conditioner that volumises hair and fights tangles?
Try Aussie brand products...they have different lines: some add shine, some volumize, some moisturize. I have found that when I use their products, my hair has more volume and doesn't tangle.

Can i use the CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective Treatment without the Chi infra Shampoo?

Can i use this without applying the Chi shampoo, i didn't buy the shampoo and after all the negative reviews i really don't want to waste the money... and i also was wondering if the CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective Treatment can be used only once a week for treaments?? HELP lolCan i use the CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective Treatment without the Chi infra Shampoo?
Yes you can use the protective treatment without the shampoo. The protective treatment is just that. It does not matter which product you use to shampoo or condition first. (Using a clarifying product once a week is a good idea tho, to help everything else work most efficiently.) Your shampoo, conditioner and all other products do not need to all be from the same line. All that matters is that you are using the right products for your hair type.

Also, it is a good idea to use the CHI silk infusion. I use it on my wet hair, then right before I straighten it, and a tiny bit when I am finished. It is really great for your hair. It helps to protect it from heat styling and it leaves your hair shiny, not greasy, and smells great.

Can you put chamomile tea into your shampoo to lighten already blonde hair?

i've heard that chamomile is a nourishing way to lighten hair; is this true? has anybody tried? (:

thank youuu! Can you put chamomile tea into your shampoo to lighten already blonde hair?
No, tea isn't going to do anything. Also, if you have ever dyed your hair before, bleach is the only thing that will lighten it. Hair is lightened then the molecules in the hair shaft are disperses, and tea isn't going to do that, chemicals are required. Can you put chamomile tea into your shampoo to lighten already blonde hair?
is true it can lighten a little bit but not that drastic you can use a chamomile shampoo named grisi this shampoo helps to lighten hair nicely I have try it and it really give me results but you need to be patient you can find it on cvs or rite aid.
this isnt true. to lighten your hair there must be a chemical change. adding tea will not lighten your hair but it will alter your shampoo... for the worse
use light mountain natural shampoo and conditioner

Can someone please help me chose a shampoo?

    I have curly hair

    and im 13 years old.

Im trying to grow my hair too.

okay so right now i use garnier fructis shampoo/conditioner

but idk if i should use head and shoulders.

    so what should i use

    garnier

    or

head and shoulders. Can someone please help me chose a shampoo?
i would definitely go with garnier fructis,

take it from someone whos been there.

but what works the best on my hair is tresseme

    straight and silky

    garnier fructis works fine

    it depends on your hair

switch around. Can someone please help me chose a shampoo?
garnier fructis kinda dried my hair out but maybe its just my hair type lol but head and shoulders is pretty good. I use sunsilk now and its WONDERFUL.
garnier fructis works really good.. you can get extra products for the curl if you want.. they have really good leave in conditionar.. try it
try head and shoulders for awhile and see which one you like better
i think you should use head and shoulder for your hair type
I wouldn't use either of those. Personally I'd choose John Frieda's Frizz Ease system. They have a set specifically for curly hair that works great. Especially the Dream Curls leave in spray. Almost all of my friends who have curly hair (natural or permed) use that system now that I have recommended it to them.
i have curly hair too and I also use fructis anti frizz shampoo and conditioner and find it very good. I find that head and shoulders makes my hair go wild and makes it very unmanageable
Head and Shoulders for sure if you have dandruff, but ONLY if you have dandruff.

Otherwise, you are far better off spending your money on good conditioner and styling product than shampoo. I will tell you why, shampoos are about all the same, and you rinse them out. Conditioner is rinsed out but is designed to give lasting effects, shampoo is not.

Try the various shampoos from Suave. I use their clear shampoo every day and PANTENE conditioner. My hair is so soft, even though I color it, you would be shocked!
I say neither try Herbal Essences.
i really like head and shoulders, it smells really good and it also works really good in curly hair..
head and shoulders is wack...keep using garnier!
    head and shoulders
    head and shoulders rox

    prevents dandruff and smells fantastic
i can't use garnier fructis on my hair (which is curlly) it makes my hair way to oily, head and shoulders is really good though... i use it and its great for heads wiht dandruff especially. try both and see which works better! hope that helps!
I would rather advise you to choose natural hair care products. They protect your skin and give a good looking texture to your hair. Wether you want it to grow or look good the answer is in natural hair product. Try keratonics hair care and you'll see the difference.
i would chose niether one of those you should try herbal essance or sunsilk cause they have shampoo for every kind of hair all granier has is to make you hair have volume or to make it sleek and head and shoulders is mostly for dander problems
I use herbal esence. They have a TON to chose from, and they have in least 1 for curly hair, and it smells awesome.

    What's a really good hydrating/moistrizing shampoo?

I'm thinking the new pink Herbal Essences/What's a really good hydrating/moistrizing shampoo?
due pantene, like the beautiful lengths or the full and thick, because those r filled with nutrients. trust me, i swim several hours daily and this has managed to keep my hair smooth and healthy. It may smell like chemicals instead of nice, but sometimes you have to sacrifice this for health. What's a really good hydrating/moistrizing shampoo?
    Pantene works great.

Right after you put it on your hair feels instantly softer.

I use the pantene that says *smooth* on it.

    It really works.

Its the only shampoo and conditioner that i get.

    Hope i helped.

    :]
This sounds kind of unfair but: If your shampoo costs less than 10 dollars, it's not going to be any good for your hair. I got a bottle of redken color extend for 15 bucks and I've never ever looked back.
Try Redken or Matrix. Follow it up with Matrix reconstructer or deep conditioner.
Paul Mitchell's tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner.

Its mint and you save a tree when you buy it.
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo and Conditioner
Pantene makes a good one. Also, follow with Mixed Chicks deep conditioner. Hope the combo helps.
    dove hydrating.
    no, herbal essences is crap.

get a better shampoo like bed head or cat walk

    those work vey well.

What shampoo will give me the same texture outcome that I get after swimming in salt water?

lmao use hand soap i think it will work :SWhat shampoo will give me the same texture outcome that I get after swimming in salt water?
use the herbal essences hydra whatever the hell..then use three to four pumps of sunsilk ';waves of envy';. =]What shampoo will give me the same texture outcome that I get after swimming in salt water?
Texture eh! Hmm are you looking for that stiff, fixed in position hair as a special effect? If so, comb a little bit of dishwashing liquid through your hair and then comb it into place.(little bit..and only in the hair, not right through to the scalp) once dried it will hold the shape quite well until you wash it out. Great for that motorcycle gag with your hair straight out behind the head.
    try this: http://beauty.ivillage.com/shop/prodrevi鈥?/a>
A wave-enhancing shampoo, and don't use very much conditioner.

When you get out of the shower, try applying a sea-salt spray (sold in drugstores) or, alternatively, scrunch in some volumizing wave-enhancing mousse to get that beachy look.
fructis... its really good and i think they actually have like ocean breeze or sumthing in tthat nature...
    uhm, idk.
    herbal essences will do it
    I'm not sure if there's a shampoo out there, but you can use a salt spray, such as Sunsilk's ';Waves of envy sea mist.';

I think Garnier Fructis is the best smelling shampoo and conditioner. I always get comments about how nice my hair smells after I use it. And, of course, it works well, too.
    try herberal essence
Scalp Med it comes with a scalp Detoxifier and it's free of harmful Sodium Laureth Sulfate . you'll be happy to how it works .
Head and shoulder willl be it. Its very good and nice and lasting or probably hermatol shapoo and conditioner even with antidandruff things in it.
Herbal Essences SHampoo and Conditioners line, smell great and leave your hair feeling soft! I love them. People always tell me how good my hair smells.
    herbal

selsumsalon makes it smell soooooooooooo gooooooooooooddddd!!!!!!!! hope u like it!
    I love Dove
    Biosilk- Silk Therapy Shampoo/Conditioner!
I've always used Aussie Moist and it keeps my hair shiny, silky, and smelling good it even smells good in the bottle.
I don't know about smelling good, because I wear perfume most of the time... but while I'm showering, I love the smell of mine... it has a REALLY mild, minty scent that's relaxing and pleasant. It also works really great if I use the whole system every day (there are a few pieces to it). I just shoved my nose into my hair and it still has that fresh minty smell (I washed my hair around 7am this morning...it's around 3pm now), but I don't know if you're looking for one that can be detected from afar as you walk by people, or for when people are right in your hair... if the latter, check out the system I use: curetage.com -- It's pricey to start, but I conserve by using very little (my hair is 5-6 inches past my shoulders, but I can still use less than directed). Don't forget to use ALL the pieces! I tried it for a while with just the conditioner and shampoo, and it just didn't give my hair the same fluffy, soft, light, dense look/feel!
I use Dream Hair by Charles Worthington, I like the smell but I'm based in the UK, so I don't know if that helps.

I used to use Aussie Custard Apple Shampoo which was great but they stopped selling it here.

Brilliant Brunette by John Frieda is also good
Anything Pantene smells so good! Good luck!
    Avon products.
