How can i get rid of head lice?i have tried every shampoo on the market and even bought the electric comb?

my daughter's have had head lice for about 2or 3 months now and i have tried everything i can think of can anyone help me?How can i get rid of head lice?i have tried every shampoo on the market and even bought the electric comb?
Wash the brushes and anything get to contact with any element from their hair even the pillows everyday in a hot water %26amp; use the electric broom to clean up the house furniture and carpets .

you have to buy special lice shampoo. when i had lice we had to get that and every day you have to comb though the hair your self and try to kill any of the lice you can see.
Try mayonnaise. It suffocates the lice. I'm not sure about how long to leave it on, sorry! but be sure to comb out all the dead ones after your rinse it out.

Doctors prescribe you special shampoo and conditioner for lice. OTC products usually don't work.
Try straightening her hair..I know it sounds silly, but think about it...It will burn them. I don't think that will get rid of all of them, but it should help.
