If you're looking for a good shampoo and you buy the mini samples, how many times should you use it before determining if it's right for your hair? How much should you use a shampoo before determining it's good for your hair?
Mini samples are a scam!
You simply cannot tell the long term effects a shampoo/conditioner will have on your hair by washing it three times, and using as little as possible in order to conserve your sample.
If you color your hair, look for shampoos with no sulfate in them (the sulfate fades the color quickly)
If you have frizzy/heat damaged hair, look for shampoos that have lots of vitamins and proteins (amino acids) in it to help strengthen hair.
So, to answer your question, there is no timeline. Believe it or not, companies perform research on their products, so when they say it will take a month to see results, it WILL TAKE a month. Another suggestion is to ask around, either online, in the salon, etc. about the effects this shampoo has on people with similar hair types. How much should you use a shampoo before determining it's good for your hair?
They don't make good shampoos in mini samples, just the drugstore crap the builds wax up onto your hair and doesn't really clean it.
