How does John Frieda Shampoo work?

I heard about this product on Oprah a few months back. Do you know if this product works good or should I consider buying another product? Thanks! How does John Frieda Shampoo work?
They are color enhancing/depositing shampoos and conditioners. I hesitate to recommend using them. I used them when I was naturally blond and again when I went red, and both times I didn't like the way it messed with my color. They actually have dye in them, so sometimes it adds a nice shine and sometimes it adds streaks.

Aveda's color shampoos are nice. I highly recommend them. Camomile Shampoo for blond, madder root for red, clove for brown and blue malva for everything else! Smell fantastic, cheap too!How does John Frieda Shampoo work?
Pretty well.. I use the John Freida shampoo and conditioner for red hair daily and the hair glaze occassionally (as needed)... These products clean well and do maintain my hair color so that I do not have to recolor nearly as often as I used to.
Well, I used to be a redhead when I was younger, and my hair got darker as I grew up. I started using J. Frieda shampoo a few months ago and although there is no dramatic change, my hair slightly got its red shine back. Your hair doesn't smell really well after you use it so I advise you use another shampoo after that.
