Sorry, but that is a myth. There ARE shampoos and conditioner treatments you can find at ULTA which are for thinning hair such as Rogaine. Here's how to make your hair grow faster:

Begin by taking a regular multi-vitamin each day. Add another vitamin that specializes in hair %26amp; nails. This would be a Biotin vitamin. You can get it at your local Target, Wal-Mart or GNC store. This will boost an increase in hair growth and strength - you won't see results most likely until one month but you will start to notice a boost in shine and growth after that - also strength in hair and nails.

Use a professional shampoo and conditioner that is rich in protein and keratin. Try Joico Moisture Restore (blue bottle) Conditioner. (salons or ULTA only carry it) This is good to keep hair in good condition. (but this does not make it grow)

Also, hair length and strength is also dependent on genetics. If your family has a history of thin, short hair you might be also susceptible to have the same type of hair.
I'm not sure that there is but there are shampoos that can help in making your hair grow, like Garnier's ';Length %26amp; Strength'; or Pantene's ';Beautiful Lengths';. You can buy these shampoo's at any drugstore, I buy mines %26amp; Walmart or Target. I would also take vitamins for your hair, you can buy them at Sally's beauty supply.
Shampoo does not make your hair grow faster.. You can buy vitamin pills from GNC that help your hair and nails grow though! Good luck
if any shampoos say any of that stuff, it's propaganda
