I suggest using Sun In, or going to a salon and getting subtle highlights. Lemon juice is so drying and damaging to your hair. And you never can tell what it is going to do to your hair.How much lemon juice should you put in your shampoo if you BARELY want to make it lighter?
i would pick up a bottle of ';Sun in'; that way you can control how it turns out.


careful though, depending on your hair color, lemon juice of any kind (sun in or straight juice) can turn your hair orange.
Just a couple drops.

you need to put lemon juice straight on your hair (dry hair) and stay in the sun for a few hours then wash it out.
