I need an experiment on how to find how much salt is in shampoo?

I need this experiment really fast.I need an experiment on how to find how much salt is in shampoo?

See this report from the US Dept of Agriculture for determination of salt levels. This measures the quantity of all Cl- in a sample (i.e. NaCl, KCl etc.) using sodium nitrate. You'll have to assume that all the Cl- comes from salt (also depends if salt means all salts or specifically sodium chloride):

Alternatively you could dry ash the shampoo for 16 hours at 500 degrees celcius, then dissolve in dilute hydrochloric acid and determine the sodium level using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). I'm guessing that's beyond your means though! ;-)I need an experiment on how to find how much salt is in shampoo?
